I have saved a ton of articles on plastic pollution: the quantity, its sources, its dangers, recycling plastic, avoiding plastic usage. Actually, at this point, I don't know which of these subtopics to write about. Certainly not all. I've seen a lot of conflicting info about plastic recycling. If I can get enough info that I can actually understand, I think that would be my focus. -- David

The topic I have chosen is neurogenesis and its impact on memory retention. I want to probe into a background report such that synaptic connections can be better understood, how are they maintained? How do they impact students and their studying? This report will not be argumentative, it’ll purely be a deep dive into what we currently know and the steps that have been taken to produce better, more effective neuroplastic regeneration.

My original idea for the report was to write about the background of black holes and then the technology used to study black holes. I was also possibly interested in writing about reptiles, specifically bearded dragons. After more planning and research I have changed my original idea to write about how black holes are formed, and the different types of black holes there are.

I will be writing about the topic of how companies should consider switching to electronic devices, or in other words, going "paperless". I had other several ideas such as, the exploration of EI, or extraterrestrial intelligence, space research, and artificial intelligence, but I found the topic of going "paperless" being more relevant to me.

For my technical report, I am writing about the feasibility of implementing a nationwide mass transportation system across the United States. My research will focus on the hypothetical reintroduction of wolves into Texas as a potential solution to the state’s growing feral hog population. The topic I have chosen is tornadoes and how we can potentially use A.I. learning to improve the response to the devastation a tornado can bring. We can take all the information we already know about tornadoes (doppler radar, climate change, weather seasons such as La Nina and El Nino) in order to feed the AI. We already have the tools to predict tornadoes, to gauge their intensity through the Enhanced Fujita scale (EF 1-5), and how temperature mixes with moisture to create tornadoes— But we can always be better. We can always TRY to be better in order to prevent another Manchester 2003 situation that essentially wiped out the town of Manchester, South Dakota.As for my audience and situation, I will be "speaking" to a government entity with the goal of proposing research into AI potentially being used to help us better understand tornadoes; to help us prepare, research, and provide solutions to the damage tornadoes cause.

people with disabilities use assistive technologies, which are software and hardware that people with disabilities use to improve interaction with products. Examples of assistive technologies include screen readers that read aloud what's on the computer screen for people who cannot see or read text and voice-input software and switches for people who cannot use a keyboard or mouse.
