Speakonia

Speakonia is a piece of text-to-speech software by CFS Technologies, currently unsupported and rather aged. It is still serviceable and has some surprising depth, but has a few options that might be somewhat obscure initially. This help document will help you through most of the software's tools.

 

There are three pages aside from this one, each one one of three major topics:

 

• Main Window
• Menu Bar
• Dialogs

 

The Main Window page describes the functions you can access in the main window, including the Toolbar and all the options that affect the program's "speaking voice".

 

The Menu Bar page describes the functions you can access from the menu bar, and ties in heavily with the Dialogs page due to most of the Dialogs being accessed through the Menu Bar.

 

The Dialogs page describes the functions you access through additional dialog windows, many of which are accessed through the Menu Bar.

Each of these pages is relatively short. You may wish to take a moment to learn all the program's functions.
